About the Statistics

The information in the tables reflects children and students identified with special education needs as reported to Alberta Education by public, separate, Francophone, charter and private school authorities and ECS private operators in their September 30 student registration. Alberta Education identifies individuals attending Early Childhood Services programs as children and individuals attending grades 1 to 12 as students.

Third or 4th quality, most students who have not had beginning official knowledge have captured up educationally and culturally to those who have. So while a child who has joined pre-school or other beginning teaching programs may get a jump begin, he or she does not always mix the finish line first. Other issues remain difficult, like the frustrating hardship that usually enables children for Go Start.
